A fetal position ultrasound is a prenatal sonogram performed to determine your baby’s orientation within the uterus, particularly in the later stages of pregnancy. Using abdominal ultrasounds, the sonographer visualizes the fetus to assess if it is in a head-down (cephalic), breech, or transverse position. Knowing the fetal position is essential for delivery planning, as certain positions may require special management or a cesarean delivery. This safe and non-invasive exam is typically done in the third trimester or if there are concerns about the baby’s movement or delivery readiness. Refund Policy - Applies to 3D, 4D and 5D ONLY If your baby isn’t in an ideal position during your session, we may recommend rescheduling your scan for a later time to give your baby a chance to move. (Please note: complimentary re-scans are not available with Special offers.) There is a $75 sitting fee that you pay at your first visit. This fee is non-refundable and is part of our 3D / 4D / 5D / HD Live ultrasound packages. If we get good pictures at your second visit, you’ll just pay the rest of the package price. But if your baby is still hiding and we can’t finish the session, you don’t have to pay anything more.
