Service Description
A placenta location ultrasound is a simple and safe session. It is a prenatal ultrasound procedure used to determine where the placenta is positioned within the uterus. This is important to ensure it is not covering or too close to the cervix, a condition known as placenta previa, which can lead to complications during delivery. Using abdominal or transvaginal ultrasound, the sonographer visualizes the uterus and placenta, identifying whether it is anterior, posterior, fundal, or low-lying. The exam is safe, non-invasive, and typically done during the second trimester as part of a routine anatomy scan or when indicated by symptoms. [Add $60 for medical report if needed]

Refund Policy - Applies to 3D, 4D and 5D ONLY If your baby isn’t in an ideal position during your session, we may recommend rescheduling your scan for a later time to give your baby a chance to move. (Please note: complimentary re-scans are not available with Special offers.) There is a $75 sitting fee that you pay at your first visit. This fee is non-refundable and is part of our 3D / 4D / 5D / HD Live ultrasound packages. If we get good pictures at your second visit, you’ll just pay the rest of the package price. But if your baby is still hiding and we can’t finish the session, you don’t have to pay anything more.
