Why should I choose VIEW A MIRACLE?

View a Miracle uses only registered sonographers (ARDMS). Each sonographer has over 18 years of experience and extensive training in 3D / 4D ultrasound. We use our experience and training to obtain the highest quality images that technology has to offer.

Is ultrasound safe?

It is now standard prenatal care to receive at least one ultrasound during your pregnancy. Extensive studies over the past 30 years have failed to demonstrate any harmful effects from ultrasound. If you have any concerns about safety, we urge you to speak with your physician prior to making an appointment. The Food and Drug Administration, does not recommend that women have an ultrasound performed for entertainment purposes.

What is View a Miracle's policy?

1. On your first visit to View A Miracle, if we are unable to obtain images of your baby’s face, there will be no charge for that visit.

2. If you are not satisfied with the images we do obtain of your baby, you must let us know within the first few minutes of the ultrasound session. We will offer to reschedule your appointment at a later date and not charge you for the first visit. If you decide to continue the exam you will be charged the full amount of the package. Once you leave the office with your DVD and CD-Rom and then decide you're not satisfied with the images, we will not remove the charge.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes, sessions are by appointment only and fill fast. Don't wait; schedule your appointment TODAY online.

When is the best time to schedule my ultrasound?

You can schedule your ultrasound appointment between 16-40 weeks into your pregnancy; however, the best time is between 26 and 34 weeks. At this time, the baby has well-defined facial features and still plenty of room to move around. Also, if you wish to have more than one session to document the different stages of your pregnancy, we can set up the appointments for you in advance. Don't wait; schedule your appointment TODAY online.

How soon should I book my appointment?

We recommend 3 to 4 weeks in advance, so that we can accommodate your schedule. If you are flexible in your schedule, we can usually get you within a day or two. Don't wait; schedule your appointment TODAY online.

How long does it take?

It depends on the package you choose. Please allow about 45 minutes for the entire process. This includes the session, the CD, DVD and pictures to be printed. If the baby is in a bad position, we will have you walk around and bring you back in the room.

Can family and friends come with me to my appointment?

We encourage you to bring friends, family, and/or siblings. This is a great opportunity for everyone to bond with the baby before it is born. We have toys to keep children entertained if they start to get restless. We can accommodate up to 25 guests. Also, we have 2 additional flat screen monitor for your guest’s viewing pleasure, which is located in the ultrasound room.

Would my insurance company cover this service?

This is an elective ultrasound and is not covered by your medical insurance. We gladly accept cash, Visa or MasterCard. We do not accept personal checks, American Express or Discover.

Will I be able to find out the gender of my baby?

Absolutely! Providing you are 16 weeks! If you would like to know the gender we can give you that information, but if you would like to keep the gender a surprise, that is also an option. Keep in mind, that before you come to the appointment, you must have seen a physician for prenatal care.

Will I always get a perfect picture of my baby?

Many factors affect the quality of the images (fetal position, amount of amniotic fluid, amount of maternal tissue). We promise to make every effort to obtain the best possible images of your baby. If the baby remains uncooperative through your session it may be necessary to repeat the scan at a later time when the position has changed. We want you to be happy with the quality of your product and encourage you to share any concerns with us prior to leaving your session.

What factors determine the quality of my images?

There are several factors. These include fetal position, maternal body habitus and fetal activity. The most crucial factor is having enough amniotic fluid in front of the baby's face; the more fluid, the better the image. We do our best to obtain the highest quality images.

What happens if you are unable to get any images?

If we are unable to get images of the baby’s face, due to fetal position, we do not charge you for the session. We will have you walk around and after a few attempts we will ask you to re-schedule.
